We used RichMcD Photography for our wedding and he was wonderful - we would highly recommend him to anyone planning a wedding! Firstly, I am blessed to know such a talented, genuine and lovely photographer! I have known Rich for some time now and he never fails to produce fantastic images. Our Wedding day photographs that Rich captured exceeded all expectations - he managed to think of absolutely everything that we as the Bride and Groom would want as special memories of our day. I have always felt so relaxed whilst working with Rich, therefore he was perfect to have there on my big day, keeping things calm and listening and offering suggestions and getting the guests together for photographs throughout the day.

 

Rich was great to talk to beforehand, and we had a pre-wedding get together and discussed most things possible, he was very organised and knew exactly what we wanted.

 

We were so thrilled when we got the images back from our wedding, they were breath-taking and Rich captured all those 'key moments' a Bride would want to treasure, from the moment I was in my 'sheep' print pyjamas getting my hair done until the evening! It just makes us smile every time we look though the photos. Rich is very clever at capturing 'natural' shots you didn't even know about - which then made it a lovely surprise seeing lots of photos we didn't even know he took! On the flip side, the shots we posed for turned out stunning and Rich gave us good guidance and instructions on the day in order to get the best results possible.

In organising a wedding there are many things to think of and one of them is choosing a photographer, if you look at the internet there are lots of them to choose from, so who do you decide on and are they any good. I have known Rich for a number of years and as a client so in my case the choice was easy, it would be Rich to take the photos at my daughter’s wedding.

 

I am so glad that I chose him, on the day he was there taking my daughters preparation shots on time and diplomatically, he positioned himself unobtrusively to take the shots needed at the ceremony, and liaised with everyone that he should have done, including the videographer, he is fun and gets on with organising everyone for the photographs. Of course what matters is the result of the photos, I am an amateur photographer myself and the photos themselves are exceptional quality and the family and especially the bride are delighted with them.

Thanks for the fantastic wedding photos. You were able to take some great photos of a groom, who has a face which generally rejects a camera! Many guests commented on how efficiently the photos were taken at the church and how you were able to blend into the day while keeping the guests at ease. Over the years, I have had many photographs taken by Richard. Personally, I'm not the best model, I really don't like the camera being pointed at me, I can't smile, I get uptight and I can't relax. Richard has an uncanny knack of making me feel relaxed and capturing some very complimentary images. Even my wife says I look good in Richard's photographs. Following the birth of our youngest daughter, my wife and I decided that we needed to have a "proper" set of pictures taken to capture us as a family. Richard created a warm, friendly and very relaxed environment for us all at his studios. My eldest two daughters had an absolute blast and we all really loved the entire experience. So much so that... A year later, just after the first birthday of our youngest daughter, we returned to Richard's studios where we had another session. Richard has a very gentle demeanour and has taken what I can only describe as a set of stunning pictures which truly capture the spirit of all my children. Had a fantastic experience on my photoshoot. Rich made us all feel very comfortable and was very accommodating in his modest garage studio. Rich made it fun for everyone with his warm sense of humour helping us establish poses, suggesting various shots, as well as doing our own. Taking photos of children is never easy however Rich made it look easy! He took some fantastic shots of my baby when he was only 2 months old. He was very patient and quick and suggested numerous different poses. I'm looking forward to arranging another photo session. Melanie

 

 

We have had several photo shoots with Rich, and every photo is amazing. He captures the children beautifully, and they always have fun and are more than happy to pose for him. The sessions are relaxed and friendly. The only problem we have is selecting which ones to choose as they are all lovely.
